Childcare needed for bright 10yr old with Special Needs + home help
About Me
A family with a Special Needs boy and a little girl under 2 years old close to Hertford North station need some help. The primary help is for the Special Needs boy (no medical issues), Mum is home with little girl working from home and general help in the home is needed.
My Requirements
Opportunity for a Nanny/Carer/Childcare person for our SEN boy and to provide general support in our home which will include little girl. Our almost 12 year-old boy has Special Needs but no ‘medical’ requirements. He loves going out and enjoys some outdoor/indoor activities. Childcare person must have own car.
Some special Needs experience is important. Experience of working in a family home is essential and a familiarity with young toddlers is clearly a bonus!
We are offering a role opportunity.
- Daytime: 6 am till 2 pm every other weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun).
- Daytime every week: a scheduled number of hours to be agreed (eg some after-school time and weekend or evening cover)
The daytime cover can be seen as a mother's help type role including help with our boy and a little girl. Support through holidays at home and/or away on trips would be very helpful.
Reliability and flexibility is essential and will be rewarded with an excellent hourly rate.
