My Requirements

Friendly, professional family in a village near Market Harborough/Uppingham seeks a warm, reliable Nanny for our two children (7 and 11).

Hours: Term time, roughly 15 hrs/week with some flexibility day-to-day, start school pick up between 3–4pm, finish between 6–7.30pm depending on the day. Some mornings (7.15/7.30–8.45am) needed if at all possible for school drop-offs by prior arrangement. In the 20 school holiday weeks, full days (8.30/9am–5/6pm) averaging around 3 days per week, with some weeks offering a full 5 days if your availability allows.

Permanent role, we will consider annualising the salary, so you’re paid the same every month all year.

Pay: £16–£20/hour depending on experience, plus mileage, expenses and pension.

Must-haves:

• Full clean driving licence + own car (essential for school pick-ups)
• Reliable, warm, great with children
• Valid First Aid cert (or willing to get one)
• Happy to undergo a DBS check or current valid DBS certificate.

Childcare experience preferred but not essential, we care more about the right person. Occasional extra hours available with notice, paid monthly.
