My Summary

My Experience

I was a teacher of Maths for 10 years in an independent boys school in Croydon, I taught year 6-13 all the way up to International Baccalaureate higher level and A level Further Mathematics, as well as iGCSE Maths and Ad Maths. I was head of junior maths for a while and have experience with UKMT challenges. I wrote, moderated and marked the school's entrance papers for a few years so have a good idea what is required at 11+ maths in at least 1 school, and I have worked as a GCSE examiner.
I also worked for a couple of years as a learning support assistant and have tutored students with a variety of SEN needs, as well as 11+ and GCSE students.

My Qualifications

I have a BA in Fine Art and also a BA (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics from the open University.
I studied the International Baccalaureate at school and came out with 42 points overall, with 7776 in higher Maths,Visual Arts, Geography and Physics and 77 in Standard level English and French.

My Availability

During the day (9-3) on weekdays, or evenings after about 7pm (depending how far away you are), I can do online if you prefer or happy to travel around SE20/SE25. Can discuss other locations but would need to charge a little more to go further to cover my time and costs.
I can be a bit flexible on weekends, happy to discuss.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £35.00 per hour

I'd start at £35/hour in person somewhere nearby, more if I need to travel. Could do £30 if online.
