I'm originally from South Africa and I've lived in Scotland for over 20 years.
I'm passionate about wildlife and enjoy sharing my love of nature and the outdoors with the children in my care.
My Experience
I have experience with a varied range of different age groups. I've worked in the industry for over 20 years, firstly as a early years practitioner in Edinburgh, and then as a manager, where I ran my own setting in the Scottish Borders.
I would describe my education style as 'learning through play'. Children are encouraged to actively participate in the practical and imaginative ways of learning that's fun and spontaneous. I am inspired by pioneers like Steiner, Froebel and Tina Bruce.
I can quite happily help to make the household runs like clockwork, from menu planning or online shopping. Anything that will help you free up more of your precious time.
I'm a wizz around the kitchen and can happily cook up healthy dishes from scratch. I especially enjoy cooking with little helpers - food always taste better when we've cooked it together!
I also offer one on one consultations if you need some practical help with sleep, eating or behaviour issues.
I can give you the tools and support you need to restore calm and get some sleep.
