Hello, my name is Fiona. I am an enthusiastic, friendly and organised Individual. I currently have a 9-job but I am available for babysitting in the evening during the week and anytime at the weekends.
My Experience
From November 2023 - 2024 I worked as a Learning Support Assistant at a local school. In this role, I supported a reception class both on a 1:1 basis and with children with SEND, ensuring their individual learning and emotional needs were met. I also worked as a midday supervisor, caring for children of different ages, supporting their well-being, and ensuring their safety.
Alongside this, I have worked as an Early Years Practitioner and Activity Instructor at the children's seasonal activity camp, Supercamps from 2021-2024. I took on the responsibility to become loco parentis of children aged 4-12 to provide a safe and enjoyable environment, working under pressure to meet their needs. I have also previously provided babysitting support, as well as caring for my niece's and nephew's regularly, further strengthening my skills in childcare and safeguarding.
I currently hold a First Aid at Work certificate, a Full Clean Driving Licence with access to a car, and attended a safeguarding course with the school. I have also previously completed a Paediatric First Aid course and had an enhanced DBS check, which I am happy to update as required.
