Urgent Childcare Needed
I’m reaching out with huge disappointment and a heavy heart as my childcare arrangements for my 5-month-old have just been cancelled with immediate effect. I have recently returned to work after maternity leave, working three days a week to support my family, and this has left me in an incredibly difficult situation.
From Monday onwards, I currently have no childcare in place. This not only means I will have to cancel all of my clients and lose vital income, but I also have no idea how long it may take to secure new arrangements. My older son’s wrap-around care has also been affected, which has added to the challenge.
I am urgently looking for:
• Childcare for my 5-month-old – Monday to Wednesday, 8am–5pm
• Wrap-around care for my school-aged son – Monday & Tuesday, with pick-up from Bordon Infants and care until 5/5:30pm
Ideally, I’m seeking an Ofsted-registered and DBS-checked childminder who would be available immediately, though I also welcome enquiries from childcare professionals who may be able to work from within our home.
I know this is a big ask at such short notice, but I am truly in an impossible situation and would be so grateful for any help, advice, or recommendations.
