About Me
Hello! My name is Jen, I’m a 27-year-old Irish woman living in Salford. I currently work as cabin crew, flying 1–2 trips per week. My roster changes week to week, but I receive my schedule around six weeks in advance, which allows me to offer good flexibility and plan childcare reliably.
I’m happy working with children of all ages and have been around kids from a young age, having grown up in a large family with lots of nieces and nephews. Caring for children feels very natural to me, and I enjoy creating a safe, calm, and fun environment tailored to each child’s needs.
I’m ideally looking to support a local family who needs help one or two days a week and values flexibility. I’m reliable, friendly, and easy to communicate with, and I’d love to find a family where we’re a great fit and can build a trusting arrangement together.
My Experience
I have several years of experience as a private nanny, working primarily with two families and occasionally supporting others. I’ve cared for children aged 1 to 8 years old, including twins and occasional newborn care. I’m confident, calm, and very comfortable working with children, and I’ve genuinely loved my time in this field and would like to continue.
Alongside my childcare experience, I have spent the last 4 years working as cabin crew, which has strengthened my responsibility, safety awareness, patience, and ability to stay calm in all situations. I am first aid trained through my cabin crew training and would be more than happy to complete an additional childcare-specific first aid course for the family’s peace of mind.
I am willing to obtain a DBS check if required and can provide references and any other information you may need. I’m also happy to help with light household duties as part of my role.

My Qualifications
My childcare experience has been gained through hands-on work rather than formal qualifications, and I am always open to further training if required.
My Availability
I am currently long haul cabin crew so I work shift work but I usually have a lot of time off between trips so would be looking for a family with some flexibility and I have my roster 1 month in advance so would be willing to plan out days with me.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
