My Requirements

I am looking for a part-time nanny for my five (almost six) year old daughter, Eliza.

I am a single mum (full-time as there isn’t a functioning co-parent). We are a very happy pair and live in Woodbridge. I write children’s novels.

Eliza loves animals (cat obsessed though), reading and imaginative play. Lots of people have commented how vivid her imaginative play is. I’ve always encouraged it since she was tiny. She also enjoys colouring and some crafting.

- At least three regular days needed. Happy to be flexible and I’m open to discussion for find something that will work for all of us.

- Ideally late morning/lunchtime until about 6pm. This could be just after school hours during term-time if that’s all the availability you have. Likewise, it can be more than that as there is always something to be done!

- Occasional overnights

- Cooking, light cleaning, tidying, laundry and errands

- Must have your own car

- Babysitting sometimes needed once a week or so, depending week by week.

- Possibly overseas travel as well, but that only happens once a year atm.

- Separation anxiety can be an issue and someone with special needs experience would be good for us.

We hope to welcome someone who is the right fit who will eventually feel like part of the family.
