About Me

I am a mother of 4. 2 adults a 5 year old and a 3 year old. I recently moved to the area and am now seeking part time work. I have worked as a practitionerand room leader in several settings including abroad and have been a deputy of two settings which both received good ofsted reports whilst I was there.

My Experience

I am experienced in the Early Years 3 months to 5 years although I did have to tutor my daughter through her GCSE’s in the pandemic and my son through WEST and his college course. I like to teach using a whole world approach based through play and the child's interests to encourage a happy, confident and resilient learner.

My Qualifications

BA HONOURS DEGREE in Early Years Education,
ALevels in Education, Human Anatomy and Biology, Study Skills and English Literature. GCSE equivalents taken in 2012 in English, Math, Science and IT. 9 GCSE’S taken in 1997 grades C-D. I have also undergone several training courses throughout my career for safe handling, manual handling, cossh, first aid, food safety, general awareness, anti-terrorism and fgm training. Special education needs.

My Availability

Weekends only at the moment. When required although bookings in advance for places are required. Ideally looking to work all year for one or two families.
