About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder based on Shirehampton. I live with my husband, our little boy and our cats Coco and Rio.
I am an experienced and qualified Early Years Teacher who follows the Early Years Foundation Stage but also takes inspiration from Montessori, Reggio Emilia and the Forest School Approach. I have a strong emphasis on holistic wellbeing, outdoor learning and child-led play. I provide a safe, caring, warm and stimulating environment for children to thrive.
We visit the local woodland and nature reserve, Lawrence Weston Farm, library, Severn beach, parks and playgroups. Children have opportunities to engage in cooking, gardening, learning Spanish, exploring music, art, books, puzzles, role play, sensory play and many other activities.
I work in partnership with parents/carers offering a supportive, collaborative and open relationship. We will celebrate children's progress and plan any actions to aid in development as required. I will communicate daily with you and create a child's journal to share photos, progress and any relevant information.
I am from Madrid (Spain) and I have been living in vibrant Bristol since 2007. I have experience with bilingual upbringing as my son speaks fluent Spanish and English.
I provide healthy homemade meals, snacks and drinks which are included in my fees.
My Experience
I have worked with children for more than 12 years.
I worked as an Early Years Teacher in Spain before moving to England. Here I have experience as a Teaching Assistant in a SEND school, nurseries and as Teacher Assistant in Reception, Y1 and Y2.
I am also a mum of a 3 years old boy.
