My Experience

I'm currently doing some temp nannying for various families, but looking for a permenant position.

In my last permenant job, I was a nanny for a lovely family in Haywards Heath, 2 girls aged 4&6. I had been with them since Oct 22, 3 days a week, and stayed until June 25 before going on maternity leave. I then returned in April 25, 2 days a week, bringing my son along with me. I did all normal nursery duties, cooking, children's laundry, keeping clothes organised and sorted, homework help, school runs , days out and planning and implementing activities etc. I only left this family due to children both being in full time school.


I also nannied in Hove for a wonderful family for 8 years. I started with them in September 16, and stayed 4 days a week until both boys were in full time school. I then dropped down to 2 days a week for another 2 years until I went on Maternity leave. All normal nanny duties, plus proxy parenting, sole charge from only a few weeks old and much more. The only reason I am not with this family anymore is because I dropped down days when returning from Mat leave, and stayed in my more local job. I am still in contact with this family and see the boys regularly.

Previous to nannying in hove, I worked on cruise ships in the kids clubs for 2 years.

April 2012-Nov 2012 & September 2013- Jan 2014

I worked with a family in Sway for a few days a week, usually between my ski seasons/other work. It varied from full days, to wrap around once the children were in school. 1 boy, 1 Girl, 2 & 3 when I started with them. All normal Nursery duties.

Jan 2013-Nov 2013

I worked full time for a family who had moved to Lymington from Malaysia. I had worked for them twice previously when they had come to the UK for holidays. There were 3 children, 2 twin boys aged 3 and an older brother who was 4. I helped get the children into a new routine and settle into their new home, as well as helping them grieve their father who sadly passed shortly after arriving in the UK. I worked along side the mother, playing games and organising activites for the children. I would get the children ready for school/nursery and prepare their meals. I also took them to school/nursery and after school activities. In the evenings, I would usually put them to bed before I left.

Esprit 09-13 4months-12years
I worked for 4 years for the company Esprit, in ski resorts and summer mountain resorts. I worked mainly in the nursery, with children aged 4months-3years, but often worked with children up to the age of 12years in the childrens clubs. This included children with special needs. My job there was to make sure all the childrens needs were met, their daily routines were followed, including nappy changing, bottles, meal times etc. I also planned activities for the children, playing games, going on outing/adventures, and making sure the children had the best holiday.

My Availability

Available from October, up to 3 days a week.

Have childcare for my son on Mon/wed and some Tuesdays, but would be looking to bring him with me on other days

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
• Nannying from £19.00 per hour (gross)
