About Me

Hello families!

My name is Fahmida and I am offering up my services as a flexible babysitter available during weekdays while my son is at school.

A little about me;

I have recently left my job as a special needs teaching assistant of 3 years so that I can spend more time with my family. I am due to begin my PGCE in SEN teaching, where I will achieve SEN Qualified Teacher Status.

Prior to this, I have worked in the mental health field with adults with mental illness and on CAMHS wards.

I have also worked as a full sole charge nanny of two children ages 1 and 4, 10 hour shifts Monday - Friday.

I am available to work any days Monday - Friday between 9-3 whilst my son is in school. I can do evenings 6.30pm onwards and emergency overnight childcare.

I do not have childcare qualifications as I am not a registered childminder, but have years of caring experience with both adults and children.

I am a mother of one son aged 3 who attends full time nursery.

I am not a driver. I have an Enhanced DBS, SEN experience.

I am comfortable taking care of multiple children at a time. I am reliable and enthusiastic, and enjoy focusing on Montessori approach when interacting with children. I believe that children learn through play, and have spent the last several years combining well thought messy play activities with hands on learning.
