Regular Monthly Evening Sitter Required
About Me
Our family consists of Hazel - mum.to two girls (12) and (9) - and our two cockerpoos, and one indoor guinea pig! So, we need someone who loves children and animals alike. The dogs will probably snuggle on the sofa with you! The children have never had a sitter before, so this is a new experience for us all. Both of my children can be a little socially awkward, and may need calm and gentle encouragement for any interactions - they can both be incredibly shy with new people, and will likely choose to chill out in their rooms, leaving you to choose your tv viewing with the very needy dogs ha ha! If you do suceed in engaging them in activities, (the children, not the dogs!! Ha ha) they both love drawing and colouring challenges and boardgames. My youngest also enjoys lego.
Having recently separated from my husband, i am looking for a sitter who may be able to enable me to have an evening out once a month, as a little respite/selfcare. Ideally, i would prefer the consistency of a regular local sitter, that the girls can get to know and build a trusting relationshop with. In addition to this, it would be helpful to have an emergency childcare contact(s), should the need arise as i have no family support in these situations.
My Requirements
The role is realy one of light supervision, reminders to brush teeth before bed, settle down for bed, my youngest still enjoys a bedtime story, or may choose to read her own book (or both).
