Hi, I'm originally from Ireland but living in Scotland for the last 5 years. I am a qualified primary school teacher currently working as an ASN teacher for a local council. I'm sports mad and a proud dad to a little girl and a sausage dog.
My Experience
I have spent 8 years working as a teacher both in Ireland and Scotland. I have worked with all ages from P1 to P7. I have 3 years experience as a class teacher and 5 as an additional support needs teacher. I have supported children with a range of additional needs (Autism, dyslexia, ADHD, dyspraxia, social/emotional needs, ,mild to moderate learning difficulties). In my current role I work with neurodiverse learners (Autism and ADHD) and have done a lot of professional development to support me in this role. As a teacher, I pride myself in my ability to form strong relationships with the children I work with and to adapt learning to their needs.

Bachelor of Education. Maynooth University, Ireland.
