About Me

I am a nanny with a foundation degree in childhood studies and over 15 years of childcare experience including mainstream and special needs.

I am friendly, and have a genuine love for children. I have a positive and hard working attitude and always ensure the children I care for feel happy, safe and secure.

I have first aid training, Enhanced DBS, nanny insurance and childcare qualifications.

My Experience

I currently nanny for a few local families and have no availability at the moment.

I have worked in a twice Outstanding Ofsted rated term time nursery for the last 15 years, where I was the settings Special Educational Needs & Disability Coordinator (SENDCo), the deputy manager, Designated Safeguarding officer and staff training officer. I worked with the children every day to deliver the high quality standard of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) using In The Moment Planning (ITMP) to ensure all children developed to their potential.

I completed my Teaching Assistant training in the Reception year group before moving on to the nursery and completing my Foundation degree in Early Childhood.

When my children were young I ran a weekly toddler group, with one other parent, in the village where we lived - providing creative activities, opportunities to develop gross and fine motor skills and leading musical activities.
