About Me

Hi, I’m Amy, a friendly, reliable and experienced childcare professional with over 20 years’ experience working with children from birth onwards.
I hold an **NVQ Level 3 in Childcare & Education** and an **NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care. I have extensive experience as a nanny, au pair, teaching assistant, nursery practitioner and preschool leader, including over 10 years’ experience working with the **Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

I have particular experience with babies and young children, including newborn care, sleep routines, naps, bottle feeding and weaning. I have also worked with children with additional needs and have experience caring for a wide range of ages.

I love creating fun, stimulating and educational activities, both indoors and outdoors. This includes arts and crafts, messy play, reading, swimming, walks, feeding ducks, parks and attending local groups to encourage learning and social development.

I am **hard-working, trustworthy, flexible and non-smoking**, and I take great pride in providing children with a safe, happy and nurturing environment.I understand the importance of working closely with parents and fitting into each family’s individual routine.

I have a **full driving licence, my own car and a current DBS**, and I am happy to use my car as part of my role.

I am currently looking for **flexible, part-time nanny/childcare work** and would love the opportunity to support a family and build a positive, trusting relationship with both the children and parents.
