My Experience

30 years + childcare experience. I started my career as temporary nanny. I then worked in the baby room in a Day nursery for 3 years.
I became a Nanny when I had my first child and looked after a little boy the same age as my son. We relocated and I became a Childminder looking after children in my own home aged 0-12 years. I then became a Teaching assistant in an independent school where I worked for 15 years. Within this role I progressed to the lead Teaching assistant and the After school care coordinator. Within this setting I worked in the Nursery for 7 years and then for the remaining time within the primary school setting up to Year 2. I aso worked alongside the SEN department.
I have now gone back into nannying and for the past 3 years have been really enjoying working in this role.
I am organised, reliable and a good communicator. With the children in my care at the heart of everything I do.
