My Experience

Working with children has always been more than just a career to me, it’s my passion. Over the past 13+ years, I have been fortunate to gain experience across a variety of early years and educational settings, allowing me to develop a broad range of skills and a deep understanding of how every child learns and develops in their own unique way.
My journey began in 2015 at Bear Care Nursery, where I started as an apprentice. Through hard work and dedication, I progressed to Room Leader, a role I held for the final three years of my time there. I also became the nursery’s Language Lead, supporting children’s speech, language and communication while creating engaging learning opportunities that encouraged confidence and independence.
In 2019, I became a full-time private nanny, caring for two wonderful children, a 6 yr old boy and his 13 yr old sister. My role included school runs, after-school care, school holidays and occasional weekends, becoming a trusted and reliable part of the family’s daily life. One of the children is autistic, which inspired me to continually expand my knowledge of autism and positive behaviour support. I regularly refresh my training and understanding to ensure I can provide the best possible care, tailored to each child’s individual needs and helping them to reach their full potential.
From 2021 to 2026, I worked in the preschool at a private school, where I continued to nurture children’s curiosity, confidence and love of learning. Working closely with families and colleagues, I supported children through those important early years, helping them develop the skills they needed for their next stage of education.

Alongside my permanent roles, I also work through an education agency across a variety of schools. This gives me the opportunity to support children of different ages and abilities, often working closely with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). I regularly work as a Teaching Assistant, leading small intervention groups outside the classroom and delivering focused learning sessions across a range of subjects, helping children build confidence and reach their individual goals.

Now, I’m excited to begin my next adventure as the owner of Nicole’s Little Learners. By bringing together my experience in nurseries, schools, private nannying and family support, my aim is to provide a warm, welcoming home-from-home environment where every child feels safe, loved and inspired to learn through play. I believe every child deserves to be celebrated as an individual, and I look forward to building strong partnerships with families while creating happy childhood memories that will last a lifetime.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Childminding from £8.00 per hour
