About Me
Our family includes myself (Jen). I am currently on maternity leave, normally I work all of my hours on Saturdays and Sundays due to childcare commitments during the week. My partner works shifts so is not always home at regular times and occasionally will work night shifts. We have 3 children aged 5, 2 and a newborn. Our 5 year old girl is profoundly Autistic, mostly non-verbal and has a learning disability.
My Requirements
I am seeking someone to help pick up my 2 year old from her childminder on a Monday and Thursday afternoon at 4:30pm and bring her back to our house, then stay and assist with childcare until bedtime at 7pm. This does seem like a peculiar arrangement but it is to benefit my 5 year old who is profoundly Autistic and cannot handle the walk to and from the childminders with me. I will always be home during the times I need the childcare for but it will allow me to catch up on housework while not feeling like I am ignoring the children during those times.
Ideally I need someone who has experience with children who are Autistic, or someone patient who is willing to learn.
