Hi, my name is Sophie and I am 23 years old. I am calm, patient and confident in managing daily routines and building relationships with children and their families. i am reliable and trustworthy and like to have open communication with parents.
i am dedicated to provide children with a safe and nurturing environment so that they feel valued and supported and can learn through play. I like to take children out to explore new places, spending lots of time outside and meeting new people to build up their confidence.
I have been the family/ friend babysitter for the last 9 years, mainly with newborn to 3 years but have experience with all ages.
My Experience
I started looking after children since i was 14, which quickly became my passion. I have experience working in nurseries, working in the baby room and then the preschool room preparing them for their journey into starting school.
Most of my experience is with newborns and children up to the age of 4.
I have worked as a nanny previously, looking after ages newborn to two years old, building routines, sleep patterns and taking the children to different groups to gain them more confidence.
I am looking for full time, available for ad-hoc and i am able to get references if required!
My Qualifications
I have a distinction in Health and Social care which i completed at college in 2019-2021. I also have paediatric first aid and a full DBS check.
