About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, caring and organised individual to help with our after-school routine for our two children — a 7-year-old and an 8-month-old baby.
The role involves collecting our eldest from school in Holt, travelling to Bawdeswell to collect our youngest, and then returning to our home in Holt to help settle the children and prepare their dinner.
This is a calm, structured role suited to someone who enjoys working with children, is confident driving short local distances, and can support a smooth early-evening routine.
Key Responsibilities
• School collection of our eldest child in Holt at 4:30pm
• Travel to Bawdeswell to collect our baby
• Safe return to our home in Holt
• Assisting with childcare on return home
• Preparing a simple, healthy dinner for the children
• Helping create a relaxed, positive end to the day
• Light tidying of kitchen/dining space after meals
• Occasional additional hours available during school holidays (by agreement)
Essential Requirements
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Own reliable vehicle
• Confident and safe driver
• Punctual, dependable and well organised
• Experience caring for children (professionally or personally)
• Warm, patient and nurturing nature
• Right to work in the UK
Desirable (but not essential)
• Previous childcare experience
• DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
