About Me

I am a qualified and experienced Ofsted registered childminder based in Blackfield, New Forest. I enjoy making the most of the local area which includes a selection of local play parks, forest walks, Lepe and Calshot beach, and the local farm and wildlife park. I have recently acquired an allotment plot nearby which the children visit often, they are enjoying growing their own flowers, fruit and veg. I have loved learning about gardening and how to make the most out of an allotment.

My Experience

I have 24 years experience working in childcare settings (preschools, nurseries) in all age ranges, as well as raising my own two boys who are 27 and 25 and my 9 year old daughter.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 childcare qualification, Paediatric first aid, Food and hygiene and allergens certificate and current Designated Safeguarding Lead training. I am also on the DBS update service. I am proactive in completing regular CPD training and attend termly Hampshire County Council meetings to ensure that I am kept up to date with changes to statutory guidance and legislation.

My Availability

From September I will have availability for 1 x Full time space Mon to Fri and 1 x Two day space Thurs/Fri. My opening hours are 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 4.00pm on Friday. I also have limited spaces for drops offs and picks ups from Blackfield Primary School. I accept funded children and also offer the gov tax free childcare.

My Fees

  • Childminding from £6.00 per hour

I offer all meals and snacks at no extra charge. I do not charge for any outings. All nappies, wipes and creams need to be provided by parents.
