About Me
Hi! My name is Amy, I’ve worked in childcare for 13 years now, mainly in nurseries and as an ASN assistant in primary schools but most recently as a community early years worker with the health visiting team.
I have recently registered as a childminder and from August 2026 will have full/part time spaces available from Monday - Wednesday.
I am also offering ad-hoc evening/weekend babysitting.
I am from Campbeltown, but now live in Gartcosh with my husband, our 1 year old daughter and our dog, Toby. In my spare time, I love to travel, go out to eat, go to the cinema and go nice long walks in new places!
I love children and being able to watch them grow and develop is so rewarding to me. I’m passionate about play based learning and the importance of play on a child’s development, so strive to plan plenty of fun activities for each child I work with to promote their development while having lots of fun!
I want each child and family I work with to feel comfortable and at ease, so offer babysitting jobs in the family’s home.

My Experience
13 years childcare experience. Qualified in Social Care, Additional Support Needs and Childcare (svq3 level). I have worked with children from babies up to 12 years old. I’ve worked in both nursery and school settings, both one to one with children with additional needs and as a key worker to a group in nursery. I have basic first aid training and love working with children.

My Availability
Childminding - 8am - 6pm Monday to Wednesday in my home in Gartcosh (from August 2026)
Babysitting - evenings during the week and any time on weekends.

- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
