About Me
Hi! My name is Amy, I’m 30 years old and I am currently a stay at home mum to my 1 year old little girl, but most recently worked as an early years practitioner in the community with the health visiting team.
I’m currently training to become a childminder and hope to start the beginning of 2026 - term time Monday-Wednesday.
I am from Campbeltown, but now live in Glasgow with my husband and our dog, Toby. In my spare time, I love to travel, go out to eat, go to the cinema and go nice long walks in new places!
I am fully vaccinated, have a pvg to work with vulnerable children and adults, I have had food handling training and first aid training.
I love children and being able to watch them grow and develop is so rewarding to me. I’m passionate about play based learning and the importance of play on a child’s development, so strive to plan plenty of fun activities for each child I work with to promote their development while having lots of fun!
I want each child and family I work with to feel comfortable and at ease, so offer babysitting jobs in the family’s home.

My Experience
11 years childcare experience. Qualified in Social Care, Additional Support Needs and Childcare (svq3 level). I have worked with children from babies up to 12 years old. I’ve worked in both nursery and school settings, both one to one with children with additional needs and as a key worker to a group in nursery. I have basic first aid training and love working with children.

My Availability
I look after my baby at home while my husband works - usually 8-4:30ish Monday to Friday. I am more than happy to babysit out with these times.
Can also offer babysitting during the day, but would need to be in my home alongside my daughter.
