Part-Time Nanny Wanted (Self-Employed) – Brentwood / Laindon (from Sept)

We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced self-employed nanny to care for our 1-year-old while I work from home. This is a part-time role for approximately 12 hours per week, ideally spread across 2–3 weekdays.

Location:
Brentwood (until September), then relocating to Laindon.

Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Approx. 12 per week (days/times flexible)

Main Duties:
• Caring for our 1-year-old: engaging in age-appropriate play, feeding, nappy changes, and supporting nap routines
• Light baby-related housekeeping (e.g. tidying toys, cleaning bottles, preparing snacks/meals)
• Creating a safe, nurturing environment
• Occasional school/nursery pick-ups or supervision of our two older children (aged 3 and 5) during term time and school holidays

Additional Info:
• I will be present in the home, working remotely, so a nanny who is comfortable working alongside a parent is essential

Requirements:
• Experience with babies and young children
• DBS checked (or willing to obtain)
• Paediatric First Aid preferred
• Must be self-employed and able to invoice accordingly
• Non-smoker
• A driving licence is desirable, especially for school pick-ups or local outings
• Friendly, trustworthy, and confident managing multiple children when needed

Pay:
£18-£19 per hour, depending on experience
