About Me
We moved to Stratford Upon Avon in 2020 when we had a our son, Kai. He is now 14 months old and is a cheerful character, full of energy and independent! Me and my partner are 32 years old and first time parents - we only ever look to get childcare in the evenings when we need a re-set period. We do not have friends and family in the local area so this is the only type of childcare which is available to us.
My Requirements
Generally putting Kai to sleep at bed time in the evening and keeping an eye on him. He normally has a book read to him, then he is put in a sleeping bag, given a dummy and put in his cot. We sometimes let him try and self settle but this is still work in progress, usually we end up having to rub his back to sleep (on/off) for 20 ish minutes. He tends to be a good sleeper and will sleep through the night. If he does wake up, it will be because he has lost his dummy. We give this back to him, lay him back down and rub his back and he is normally out in a minute!
