My Requirements

This is a flexible position, with the possibility of some weekends and overnight stays. We are looking for someone reliable and enthusiastic who enjoys spending time with children and can become a trusted part of our family.

Duties may include:

* Collecting the children from school / bus
* Taking them to activities and appointments
* Planning and doing fun, age-appropriate activities
* Reading and playing with the children
* Helping with homework
* Preparing simple meals/snacks
* Helping with bath and bedtime routines
* General childcare and keeping the children happy, safe and entertained
* Some weekend and overnight care

We are looking for someone who is:

* Professional, reliable and trustworthy
* Warm, friendly and caring
* Energetic and fun, but also able to set boundaries
* Organised and responsible
* Comfortable helping with homework and routines
* Flexible with days and hours
* Ideally experienced in caring for children of a similar age

This would suit someone looking for a flexible, long-term role with a lovely family.
