About Me
Hello! My name is Jheca. I am 20 years old and recently finished A-Levels. I grew up with a younger brother who I have helped babysit for several years. I enjoyed minding him - so I want to help other families with their children too, even if it's just to watch them for a bit.
Alongside that, I have also recently taken up some ad-hoc babysitting for younger children. I have been involved in working as a nanny for a brief amount of time, along with working in a nursery and childminding setting for around a year. I am fluent in English and Tagalog, and would be more than happy to help small children with homework such as english.
I have Paediatric first aid and Safeguarding training as well as an enhanced DBS.
My Experience
I have a few years of informal experience. I used to look after my younger brother, picking him up from school, cooking basic meals for him, ensuring he has done his homework, given him a bath and put him to bed. I have also begun doing some ad-hoc babysitting with younger children. In terms of more formal experience, I have also gained experience working in a nursery, a childminding assistant and a nanny for roughly a year. My duties included changing nappies, preparing stimulating activities, supervising play, preparing simple meals and ensuring safety.
My Qualifications
I have an enchanced DBS, paediatric first aid and children safeguarding training. Please be aware that I am not Ofsted Registered - so I might not be the person for you if you are looking for a registered childminder. Thank you.
My Availability
I am available any day of the week but I am looking for mostly a Monday-Thursday role.
I am also sometimes available during the weekends but it varies weekly so please check with me in advance.
