About Me
I am a level 3 childcare practitioner currently working in a local nursery. I have plenty of experience working with young children from babies through to 12. I work full time but happy to do evenings and weekends. I have an undergraduate degree in psychology and am about to undertake my masters in child psychotherapy, working with young children is a real passion of mine. I also am forest kindergarten lead and eco school lead at my nursery so being outdoors is something I love and try to make the most of!
My Experience
I have been working in childcare settings for about 5 years now. I worked in a primary school holiday club doing 1:1 care for SEN children, I have also worked for a childcare agency who placed me in several nurseries throughout Cambridge where I have worked with children through to pre-school. I also have worked part-time at a university nursery in Aberdeen where undertook my degree. I have been working in my current nursery for about a year and a half but have worked in various childcare settings for nearly 5 years now.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified level 3 childcare practitioner, I am forest kindergarten trained, and have an undergrad degree in psychology. I have an enhanced DBS check and also a PVG check. I have completed several courses of childcare training including safeguarding, paediatric first aid, food safety and more.
My Availability
I work full time during the week (shifts change between 8-5/9-6) but happy to pick up evenings and weekends where needed.
