Incredible chilminder

Nana is just fantastic. She started looking after my daughter she was 9 months old (she is now 4), and also looks after my son too since he was 10 months and is now 2. Nana has been amazing for our family and truly feels like an extension of it. She treats and cares for them as family.

From the start, Nana has been warm, calm and incredibly patient. She is always accommodating and supportive, and she’s helped the children feel safe, settled and confident in her care. As a parent, that reassurance means everything.

Nana’s communication is one of the biggest reasons we trust her so much. She keeps us updated about the children’s day and how they’re getting on (sending photos and regular updates), and she always makes time to talk things through and work as a team. She regularly reassures us about how she feels the children are progressing, and it’s clear she really understands them as individuals.

The range of activities Nana provides is brilliant and has had such a positive impact. She plans fun, varied days with things like craft activities, drawing and creative play, as well as puzzles and problem-solving games that really keep them engaged. She also spends time reading with them, helping build their interest in books and supporting their language – crucial having bilingual children. We love that she includes role play, which has really helped their confidence and imagination. Nana also takes them on outings in the local community (library, fire station, Christmas grotto, local children stay and play) giving them new experiences and helping them learn about the world around them in a safe and appropriate way.

Overall, Nana has been and still is a huge part of our children’s early years and we feel incredibly lucky to have her. I would recommend her without hesitation.
