Hi, I’m Songita, a caring and experienced childminder based in Rayleigh, just a 7-minute walk from Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Primary School.
With over 6 years of experience caring for children aged 6 months to 8 years, I provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating home environment where every child can learn, play and grow with confidence. I offer engaging activities tailored to each child’s individual needs, along with fresh, nutritious home-cooked meals.
My aim is to provide every child with a happy, caring and homely experience while giving parents complete peace of mind.

My Experience
I am experienced working with babies, toddlers and preschool aged children.
I offer home from home care in a dedicated room. I have a beautiful garden with messy play opportunities e.g., sand, water and mud where children can explore their sensory experiences.
Family app opportunity is available for parents to see their children's activities and daily updates.
I keep development records of the children and help children reach their full potential in a fun learning environment.

My Availability
I am available for Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 6.30. I am also flexible with parents' needs during weekends.
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
£8.50 per hour
For full time £85 per day which makes per hour fees a bit cheaper.
Fees are paid in advance.
My Local Schools

My daughter thrived whilst with Songita. We had lots of communication so we could continue her learning at home, and she came on leaps and bounds whilst she was with her. My daughter settled in really quickly, and it really felt like a home from home for her. The food provision was excellent. It was really nice to have the app so we could have updates from her throughout the day. We really loved that Songita used our daughters interests to then plan sessions for later in the week, she was always excited about what she had been doing when we picked her up.

I couldn’t recommend Sonjita enough. She has been looking after my son since he was one, and in that time he has come on so much. His speech has really developed, he’s learnt numbers and so much more, and he absolutely loves all the crafts, activities and time spent playing outside.
Her meals are always amazing, and she is so patient and caring with him, even though he can definitely be a handful! It’s so lovely knowing he has a real home from home when he’s there, and her family are so wonderful with him too. Most importantly, he absolutely loves going to her, and I know he is happy, safe and so well cared for. We feel very lucky to have found her.

Songita was amazing with our daughter, she was super nice, caring, earned both mine and our daughter’s trust. She always looked out for her, did an amazing job, my daughter loved her time with her. Highly recommend to everyone, she’s the best.

My son has absolutely thrived in Songita’s care. She’s a wonderful childminder who truly prioritises development, enjoyment and safety. The variety of meals and snacks she provides has been fantastic, helping to encourage my son explore food with confidence. I couldn’t praise or thank Songita enough - we’re so pleased with the care she gives, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly.

Songita has been amazing with my little one. She is very polite and warm and always keeps me updated with my child's care. The children's room is full of colourful toys and beautifully decorated.
She offers varieties during meal times.
My little one always looks happy every time she's back from the nursery.

My 2 year old toddler started with Songita nearly a month ago now, and from the very first phone call I had with Songita I knew she was the right childminder for my little one. From meeting Songita during the induction and settling in stages, I can see how passionate she is about looking after children. She's so welcoming,and full of vibrant energy. Her home is warm, big and well equipped with amazing toys to keep the children happy & stimulated for hours! I instantly felt part of her family.’
