About Me
I'm a 28-year-old Argentinian woman. Since I was very young I’ve dreamed of living in England for its language, music, culture, architecture and history. I’m a very creative and versatile person and that’s why I decided to get a degree in Fashion Design at Universidad de Palermo, in Buenos Aires. I’m a very patient, kind, honest and hard-working woman. In my free time, I enjoy listening to old music, watching films, reading, writing, painting, learning languages and talking to my friends. Since the year 2017, I’ve been teaching English as a foreign language at a language school (Academia Beruti) in Buenos Aires, and I continue working remotely, with a very flexible schedule. I’ve taught and continued teaching students of all ages, from the age of 8 to 70 years old. When I lived in Argentina, I took care of a baby, (a relative’s daughter) and two kids of 8 and 12 (a neighbour’s infants). Currently, I'm taking care of a 4-year-old little girl and I'm really enjoying it. I’m very happy in this city and look forward to making my own path here and growing in all the ways possible!
My Experience
When I was 16 I took care of a baby, who was a relative's daughter. I worked 8 hours a week, for a year. The mother was present most of the times, so I basically took care the baby while she did the housework. I fed the baby and played with her. Later, at the age of 18, I looked after my neighbour's kids (8 and 12 years old) for five months when she went to work. I played with them, helped them with their homework and prepared the food. I worked with them 15 hours a week.
My Qualifications
I'm a fashion designer, so I know a lot of activities and painting techniques to work with the kids.
As I'm from Argentina, I'm a native Spanish speaker, so I could teach the children my language. I would use songs and short stories.
My Availability
From Monday to Friday, mornings and afternoons, and also after school on Mondays and Fridays. If the family requires other schedule, we can talk about it.
