Warm & Friendly Nanny Position – Petts Wood (Monday–Thursday)

We are a friendly, welcoming family based in Petts Wood looking for a kind, experienced and reliable nanny to become part of our family. Our wonderful nanny is leaving to pursue a new career, and although we’ll be very sad to see her go, we’re excited to find the right person to join us.

The role will start in early to mid-September, with the exact date to be agreed with the successful candidate.

We have two lovely children – our son is 5 years old and will be starting Year 1 in September at his school in Bickley, and our daughter is 2 years old. They are happy, affectionate and full of energy, and we’re looking for someone who will enjoy becoming an important part of their lives.

We’re open to one of two positions, depending on finding the right candidate:

Option 1 – Full-Time Nanny
Monday to Thursday | 7:00am–6:00pm

This role would include:
* Helping our son get ready for school and completing the school drop-off and pick-up in Bickley.
* Providing full-time care for our 2-year-old during the day, including planning fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities at home and out and about.
* Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
* Children’s laundry, keeping children’s areas tidy, and all usual nanny duties.

OR

Option 2 – After-School Nanny
Monday to Thursday | 3:00pm–7:00pm

This role would include:
* School pick-up in Bickley and nursery pick-up for our daughter.
* Preparing snacks and dinner for the children.
* Playing with the children, reading stories, helping with homework where appropriate, and supporting their evening routine.
* Bath time (if required), tidying children’s areas and preparing for the following day.

We’re looking for someone who is:
? Warm, caring and patient.
? Reliable, punctual, organised and proactive.
? Fun, energetic and creative, with a passion for planning engaging, age-appropriate activities.
? Enthusiastic about encouraging an active lifestyle and helping the children enjoy a variety of sports and outdoor play.
? Committed to supporting the children’s development by building their confidence, encouraging good manners and kindness, and helping them develop age-appropriate independence and life skills.
? Experienced with young children.
? A confident driver with a full UK driving licence and their own car.
