Hi, I am available for after school and holiday childcare work.
I am calm, fair and tolerant and able to compromise, this has enabled me to build good, honest, trusting relationships with all the children I've had in my care and their parents.
I am very reliable, honest, approachable and flexible with my days / times so can be available when needed.
I have held a full driving licence for many years and I own a safe, reliable car with isofix car seats fitted for children aged 0 - 10 years. I love to be out and about with the children in my care and am not afraid to get wet & dirty!

My Experience
I have been a child minder / nanny for 35 years. I have completed many courses including,
Early years: Positive relationships & Learning and development.
Autism and Mental Health Awareness in young children, First Aid
I have attended seminars and have previously worked for Parentline Plus supporting parents with young families.
I am looking for approx 10+ regular hours but am also available for additional ad hoc hours when needed and am available for full days during the school holidays as required.

Dawn is absolutely lovely. We used her as a one time babysitter while we visited the Oxford area for a wedding. As we don't live in England, I was nervous to interview and hire a stranger to watch my five year old. She was quick to respond to messages, chatted with me via video call, and had one of her grandchildren with her, which really helped my nerves. The day of the event, she was on time, got to know my son, and I felt really secure leaving him with her. My son can be high energy and she matched that, enthusiastically. They went to the adventure park at Blenheim, had dinner, and then bedtime! I hope to visit the area again and would absolutely hire her again!
