My name is Sarah and I am an OFSTED registered childminder and live in Sandymoor. My husband and I have 3 older children. I have a well equipped playroom with lots of resources.
After working in the financial industry for most of my working life, I decided it was time to do something I have always wanted to do; combine work with having lots of fun, and that's what I do with the children. All children are individuals and will be treated as such.Children will benefit from a wide range of activities including plenty of outdoor play, messy play, cooking, arts and crafts, visits to the park, library and soft play to name but a few.
My Experience
I have been in childcare since 2011 and I have seen many changes. Being a parent myself I have had many challenges and like to work to do the best for the children. I am never afraid to try new things and have really enjoyed meeting the demands of my job and working to meet the parent/s wishes.
I have learnt everyone is an individual and as such, to work out what works and what doesn't. To be flexible in my approach, while setting safe boundaries and allowing children to make choices for themselves. Happiness is very important to me. Also, giving children new experiences and lots of outings, which are usually covered in the fees. Most of all a safe, homely setting for your child.

My son had an absolutely amazing time in Sarahs care. He settled in so well and always had a smile on his face at pickup. Her setting is lovely and clean with tons of developmentally appropriate toys for the kids to play with. Sarah always provided us with amazing feedback on how his day went and detailed updates on his development. We’re very sad to be moving on and would definitely recommend her setting to any parents who are looking for a safe and loving environment for their little ones.
