About Me

Highly trained, experienced, registered independent midwife & maternity nurse, who loves supporting women, parents and their families. I've cared for many families and attended many births, and offer calm, holistic expert support with postnatal recovery, newborn care and the infant feeding journey.
My main objective is to protect mothers against anything that could disrupt the time surrounding birth and the early postnatal period, therefore I'm very much an advocate of supporting your preferences to help you achieve a parenting experience you'll treasure, wherever you are in your journey.
I give time to talk about options and answer your questions with evidence-based guidance, and discuss and nurture you and your baby's needs. We work at eliminating fear and anxieties and building confidence.
Families often say how they appreciate the trusting relationship that is built through our conversations and my gentle, thoughtful approach.
At 42 I have a lot of life experience! I'm mature, professional and responsible and I'm an animal lover, book reader, non-smoker (I don't-vape either) and I'm a non-drinker.
I'm also available for babysitting if you have older children.

BSc Midwifery (NMC registered Midwife)
Diploma in Midwifery
Level 4 Maternity Nurse Qualification
Level 3 Paediatric First Aid, Adult and Paediatric Life support & Anaphylaxsis trained
Level 3 Safeguarding Trained
Diploma in Holistic Massage Therapy (Pregnancy, Postnatal & Caesarean recovery specialisms)
Baby Massage Instructor
