Hi! My name is Caroline Flower and I am an Ofsted-registered childcare professional with over 18 years of experience working in early years education and care. I live in Halesowen with my husband and our two cats.
At Flower Tots Childminding, I provide a clean, safe, and welcoming "home-from-home" environment where children feel secure, valued, and excited to learn through play.
What We Do & Outdoor Learning
I am truly passionate about the great outdoors! My setting features a lovely, secure garden area for daily outdoor play, and we love regularly exploring our local community. Our typical outings include:
Parks, nature walks, and Forest School play
Farm trips and soft play centers
Local library visits, playgroups, and community activities
Convenience & Safety
Transport: I hold a full, clean UK driving license (14 years driving experience) and drive a safe 7-seater vehicle. All age-appropriate child safety seats are provided by me for local outings and pick-ups.
Nutrition: Fresh meals and healthy snacks are provided throughout the day.
Fully Qualified & Checked: Ofsted registered with Paediatric First Aid and Enhanced DBS clearance.

Monday – Friday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

My Experience
I have over 18 years of professional experience working with early years and primary age children across a variety of educational and childcare settings.
My background includes:
Nursery & Early Years: 6 years of hands-on experience working directly in nursery settings, caring for and supporting the development of children from 9 months to 5 years old.
Primary School Education: Over 3 years working in primary schools as a Teaching Assistant, supporting children from Nursery right through to Year 2. This gives me deep, practical knowledge of key developmental milestones and early learning frameworks.
Babysitting & Private Care: 7 years of private babysitting experience, providing high-quality, trusted care for local families.
My Qualifications
Qualified Childcare Practitioner: Level 3 Certificate in Childcare
Experience: Over 18 years of professional experience in early years and primary education settings
Higher Education: Degree-level background in education and child development
Ofsted Registered: Full registration meeting all Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements
Safety & First Aid:
Fully trained in Paediatric First Aid
Food Hygiene & Safety certified
Enhanced DBS Checked (clean record)
Up-to-date Safeguarding training
My Availability
My childminding hours are 7. 30am till 6pm Monday to Friday. Saturday 8am till 2pm.
I currently have no availability till September 2027
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
