Tanya has looked after both my boys with additional needs.
My eldest is 10 and she looks after him before and after school. He is non verbal and autistic and she is so understanding and adaptive of his needs. It’s always a worry that he can’t talk but knowing he is laughing and smiling going and leaving is all we want. She helped us when nobody would give us the time of day. Tanya provided a pecs board so my son could communicate and encouraged him to take part in activities with other children. We all feel so welcomed into her home.
My youngest son has a lot of unwanted behaviours but Tanya always knew how to handle this and get the best out of him. She taught him some makaton signs which he still uses now. He thrived while under her care and we only moved him to a nursery setting to make the transition to school a little easier for him.
I’ve been so impressed with the support and care both my boys have received - especially as a SEN mum - I don’t trust anybody but I 100% trust Tanya to do right by my sons.
