About Me
I am a Social Work student and single mother looking for childcare support for my autistic daughter, Michaela. I am looking for someone patient, reliable, understanding, and experienced or comfortable supporting children with additional needs. Michaela is loving, intelligent, and thrives best in a calm and supportive environment. Building trust and consistency is very important to us.
My Requirements
We live in a two bed end terrace house. I am looking for childcare support for my daughter during my university placements. This would mainly be Monday–Friday during school term time only. I require support before and after school. She has transport to and from school, I’m looking for someone to stay with her, get her ready for school and wait for her after school.
Michaela is mostly independent, however she may require some support with tasks such as dressing, bathing, and feeding (unless eating finger foods).
I am looking for someone patient, reliable, understanding, and comfortable supporting a neurodivergent child within a calm and supportive environment.
As this is from September, times and days are to be confirmed. In September it might start with 3 days and from February when I start placement, it will be Monday to Friday.
