Part Time Nanny With Special Needs Experience Job In London
About Me
I am a Mum to a little girl now four years old (born in March 2021). We are a family of three - Mum, Dad and our daughter. We live on the Streatham Common/Norwood Grove side of Norbury.
Originally from north London, I have lived in the SW16 area for over a decade with my husband. I work in NHS communications.
Our daughter started school this September 2025 and is in reception, which she is enjoying. She is inquisitive, loves to dance and enjoys learning about sea life.
Away from work I enjoy being with my daughter and supporting her development. Our routines and monthly rhythms include play sessions and playdates, baking, crafting, outings, visiting the park and spending time with family, My daughter is also a member of Sunday school at our local church so this is a regular part of our weekly routine.
Additionally getting outdoors is a very important part of our routine and we regularly go for walks, making the most of all the nearby green spaces.
My Requirements
I am looking for an after school nanny to do school pick up and look after my daughter in our home for two days a week, from January 2026. We are looking for Mondays and Tuesdays at the moment. We will have some flexibility in the near future for Thursdays potentially. Our daughter has challenges with expressive verbal communication currently, therefore I am ideally looking for someone with some SEN experience.
Our current after school nanny is moving on due to changes in availability so we are looking for someone new.

Christine provides a positive, fun and safe environment for all the children within her care. She is kind and compassionate and this shines through in what she does. Her approach is child centred and child led so she truly nurtures the unique qualities and personalities of every child, while supporting their learning and growth. Christine looked after our daughter from the age of 14 months until she went to school at 4. She was really supportive to us as parents, kept us regularly updated and was flexible when we needed. Christine was very much part of our ‘village’ and we were sad when it was time to move on. We’ll always have fond memories of our daughter’s time at Ccs. Our daughter adored Cc and this allowed her to thrive. We would recommend Christine if you are looking for a childminder in the area!
