Hiya,
my name is Marissa, I am 24 years old and local to Stroud.
I worked as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school for 5 years up until October 2021. Since then, I have been working at a charity funded residential home for disabled adults, as well as taking on some childcare roles inbetween. As a TA, I worked in the Nursery all the way up to Year 8, so have had lots of experience working with children of all ages.
I really enjoy working with kids and love to encourage creativity and fun. I am confident with cooking, entertaining, housekeeping, and helping with homework. I also have my own transport, am happy to commute and can be flexible with times.
My Experience
I have a Level 3 diploma in childcare and EYFS, am first aid trained and have years of experience working with children from different backgrounds. I’ve worked with kids from 1-13 years old, some being international students whose first language isn’t English, others being SEN children with learning/behavioural difficulties. I have also been babysitting for friends/family and in my local area for over 10 years.
