My Summary

My Experience

As stated above, I am currently a student midwife working alongside registered midwives, obstetricians etc. I have experience in supporting women and birthing people with multiple babies, pre term babies, babies who have been in neonatal/special care units etc. I am able to help with feeding (breast, bottle or mixed), nappy changes, emotional support when needed, meals for the baby if of weaning age, stimulation and playing with the baby (singing, reading, tummy time, baby groups etc)

I am also very empathetic and understand how intense the shift from pregnancy to parenthood can be, so regularly try to go at the parents pace in regards to assisting them with how to care for their baby, what cues to look out for and what they mean, how to best handle the new changes etc.

For older children, I am able to support them with their education where possible with reading and counting exercises, stimulating games (I spy, what shape is it etc) and songs, outdoor activities and adventures (when possible). I am also able to drop and pick up children from nurseries.

I am available for babysitting when parents want to go out etc if given at least two days (48 hours) notice in advance**

My Availability

My availability varies depending on studies/placement- please enquire for more information.

My schedule is more flexible for younger children (up to 18 months old) on varying weekdays and occasional weekends from the summer holidays* to September/ October 2024.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Maternity Nursing from £16.00 per hour (gross)

My maternity nursing (infants under 12 months) rate is based on individual circumstances; please enquire for further information.

My babysitting rate is £15 per hour for ONE CHILD,
TWO children is £17 per hour,
THREE is £20 per hour,
FOUR is £23 per hour.
An additional £5 charge is incurred for each child after 4 children e.g. five children is £28ph, six £33ph.
(In the case of twins, they are counted as ONE if they are the ONLY children in the household that I will be caring for. If not, normal fees apply.)

Please enquire independently as set rates may fluctuate depending on individual circumstances such as but not limited to: location, needs of the children and term time/ holiday schedule.

**IF A REQUEST IS MADE LESS THAN 48 HOURS BEFORE THE INTENDED DATE, A £20 ADDITIONAL EMERGENCY FEE IS INCURRED ON TOP OF THE TOTAL PAYMENT

By requesting a service < 48 hours in advance, automatic consent will be implied to add the emergency fee to the overall charge.
