My name is Ruby, and I am a graduate of the University of Liverpool. I have been working as a Salon Supervisor for the last year but have decided to take a step back from that career and focus primarily on childcare! I've always been that person who lights up around kids. There's something about their energy and curiosity that just clicks with me. Whether it's playing make-believe, helping with homework, or just listening to their stories, I'm all in. From September I will be going back to university to study paediatric nursing. I have a real passion for working alongside kids, and would be happier to offer any further information!
My Experience
I have worked as an au pair to a four year old boy for 3 and a half years, alongside being a babysitter since I was 15 (I am now 22!).
My decision to pursue a Level 2 childcare certificate was driven by my deep commitment to honing my skills and knowledge in this field. This certification not only reflects my dedication to professional development but also underscores my readiness to meet the demands of the childcare industry with competence and confidence.
Throughout my experiences, I have cultivated a profound appreciation for the transformative power of caregiving. Whether engaging in imaginative play, facilitating educational activities, or offering emotional support, I have consistently strived to create nurturing environments where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to explore the world around them.
My Qualifications
I recieved a 2:1 in Criminology at The University of Liverpool.
I also have 3 A levels; An A* in Performing Arts, An A in English Literature and B in Geography.
I have the basic GCSE's required.
My Availability
I am available most evenings Mon-Fri and can be available on weekends with prior warning.
I can do daytimes as well
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
I charge 12 pounds an hour - with a rate of 14 pounds after unsociable hours (12am-8am).
