My Experience
I am a qualified and highly experienced Nanny and Maternity Nurse with over 30 years of childcare experience, caring for children from 2 months old, including newborn twins, through to 7 years.
I have worked with families in London, Scotland and France, caring for babies, toddlers and young children in both full-time and part-time positions. My experience includes newborn care, establishing routines, feeding and bottle preparation, baby massage, bathing, nappy changing, sleep routines, potty training, nursery and school runs, meal preparation and organising age-appropriate activities.
I have extensive experience working with French-speaking families and providing French immersion, speaking French with children throughout the day through play, reading, singing and everyday activities. I am creative and proactive and enjoy planning activities including arts and crafts, outdoor play, swimming, sports and educational activities.
I am warm, patient, energetic, reliable and organised, with a calm and positive approach. I am confident supporting parents with newborn care and routines and communicating professionally with families. I am also a qualified lifeguard, enjoy outdoor activities and hold a full clean driving licence.
Qualifications and checks include OCN Level 3 Maternity Nursing, OCN Baby Massage, Child Development training, Paediatric First Aid, recent DBS check and Ofsted registration.
