About Me
Hi! A bit about me, my name is Michelle and I'm 19 currently studying psychology at university. I love to cook, listen to all types of music and I love watching films but most importantly I'm ready to be a helping hand! People often describe me as maternal and everyone knows I adore children, not to brag but I did get the best peer mediator award; peer mediators are who younger years can approach to sort out their problems if they wish to not go to an adult first. I love spending time with children having fun as well as being able to teach. I would be delighted to get a chance to be entrusted with looking after your children and I would ensure that I work at the highest of standards.
My Experience
I grew up with many children around me and growing up they were often put into my care but I never minded at all! It taught me a lot cause every child really is different e.g, some are more introverted others are more extroverted. Therefore every child is different and has different needs some may prefer to have personal space whereas others like full attention. I believe it's important that the child is happy and that we respect them just as much we expect them to respect us, but also ensuring good manners and behaviour is reinforced. Additionally, I have some experience with autistic kids as my cousins are autistic and both have very different approaches when they're upset, which is so important to acknowledge every child is so different. It's a matter of patience, getting to know each other. Also, I have experience in tutoring KS2 level work, therefore I am more than happy to help with homework and I can definitely help with household chores and cleaning.
My Qualifications
I don't have any certified qualifications as I am just a university student however I have done some first aid training, how to help someone choking and CPR.
My Availability
I'm available at these times up then it will change depending on my new university timetable. I am available Tuesday from 4 pm onwards, Wednesday and Thursday my hours are flexible. However, I would prefer to start no earlier than 10 am and finish no later than 10 pm. I also can do extra on Saturdays.
