About Me
I'm a mum of two girls aged 17 & 18 and I'm aged 46. I have over 10 years experience in child care / nannying looking after children of all ages via nannying & working in primary & secondary schools also. I'm outgoing, happy and caring and love being around children and taking those I've looked after on many adventures. I love to be outside as much as possible with the children in my care and taking them on educational adventures to explore the world we live in today. Combining fun & learning at the same time. I like to build a strong bond with the children in my care so that they can feel comfortable whilst with me. And also take part in activities they enjoy also.
I'm also avaliable to do school pickups & drop offs. I'm available to help around the house either as just a household help or combined with nannying.
I've recently left a family of five children who I looked after from birth up to the age of 11yr old. Sadly as the children all aged out of needing care as much, I'm now looking for another family I can build a great bond with. I'm also avaliable to nanny share.
I'm currently not available Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons as I'm looking after a lovely young lady on these days. All other days including weekends I'm available and can be flexible with your families needs during the week.
My Experience
Over the years I've looked after children from newborn up to secondary school age, both working in schools and working as a nanny for local families when they've needed that extra help. I also have experience working with children that have extra needs such as autism etc As my own daughter is autistic and some of the children I have cared for over time have also had different levels of autism , OCD and other special needs.
My Qualifications
I have over 10 yrs experience of working from newborn up till age 15 from working as a nanny but also from working in various primary schools as a teachers aid & parent helper. I have first hand experience of working with autistic children and other SEN needs as my own daughter is autistic and the last couple of families I've worked with have had children with various special needs.
My Availability
I'm available 7 days a week (apart from Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons) for a nannying role, school pick up / drop offs. Household help. Mothers help etc Please note that I dint currently drive as I prefer to walk most places and use public transport when to far or the children in my care are tired. I'm based in Teddington and willing to travel out of the area for the right role. As mentioned I'm very flexible with my days and hours and happy to work late nights and weekends, also happy to combine roles with different families like a nanny share.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
I charge a min rate of £18 per hour but can be negotiable for the right fit with the right family
