Hello!
My name is Annika, I am 27 years old and I love to laugh. I might appear shy and introverted at first but with the right people that will change very quickly. I love travelling and have done so as much as possible in the past few years. I especially enjoy meeting new people on my travels and learning about different customs and cultures along the way. I act and play the piano in my free time and I adore all animals with - especially cats.
My family used to be a rather small one, with me being the only child until 2014, when my first cousin was born. After her followed 6 more cousins and my little brother, who turned 10 last November - so we are 16 nearly 17 years apart. My little brother is my favourite person in this world and I am afraid I spoil him dreadfully.
My mother tongue is German, but I have been learning English since I was six and while I wouldn´t say I was completely fluent I think my English is acceptable. I studied Chinese for 1 year at the Beijing Union University in China and hope to continue my studies as soon as possible since this language has truly captured my heart.
I am currently living in the UK under the pre-settled status but will hopefully be able to apply for the settled status soon.

My Experience
I have some experience in child care, primarily with babies and toddlers.
I took care of two children, aged 2 & 8, during my first AuPair stay in Torquay, England (45 hrs/week)
And again two children, aged 4 and 1 in China (25hrs/week) .
My first time as a Nanny was with an amazing family in London, again with two kids, aged 3 and <1 (35hrs/week).
Plus occasionally helping out another family with a 1 ½ year old girl.
After that I changed my usual age group and worked with a lovely 12 year old in Notting Hill (35 hrs/ week).
Now I am again working with a 2 year old in Notting Hill as a Full-time Nanny (44-48hrs/week).
Preparing milk, changing nappies, helping with homework, teaching English or German and getting rid of any kind of "happy accidents", I have done it all :)
