My Requirements

We are looking for someone who enjoys caring for children and is also happy to help with cooking and keeping the household clean, tidy and organised - a hybrid nanny-housekeeper / family assistant role.

Childcare responsibilities
The main responsibility would be looking after the boys in the afternoon, typically between 4pm and 7pm. This would include:
· School and nursery pickups
· Bringing the boys home and looking after them until we finish work (returning circa 6:30pm)
· Preparing snacks and dinner for the boys
· Playing, reading and helping with homework
· Occasionally helping with bath time and getting them ready for bed
· Tidying the kitchen and children’s play area at the end of the day

Household support before pickup:
· Preparing children’s meals, plus 1–2 adult dinners (~3 hours/week)
· General housekeeping, such as laundry, changing beds and occasional grocery or household errands (~2 hours/week)

If you are looking for additional hours, we are also looking for a regular cleaner (4-6 hours/week)

Hours and flexibility
Overall, we expect the role to be 15-20 hours per week across three days between Monday and Thursday. We are flexible on which days and would be very happy to agree on a structure that works for you.
