My Requirements

This is a unique role - please read description.

Currently looking for an in-home setting child minder/baby sitter. We are keen to find someone who is very reliable and would become an integral part of our family. It would suit someone semi retired, possibly studying or someone who isn't reliant on this as their main income but would like to work blocks as and when required. A driver's license is a must as transport would be required.

Both children are in childcare 7.45am - 5pm Monday to Friday term time. Mum is on 13hr shift patterns in healthcare and Dad travels a lot with work, so we're looking for someone who can help with:

- Mornings (arriving early from 6am, and doing morning school run with possible light household duties if wanted to make it worth your time)
- Occasional weekends and school holidays
- Evenings (picking children up from school/nursery, tea time, bedtime and overnight when Mum is on shift)

It would be 3-4 days per week, and this is ONLY for the six week blocks of:
30th Nov 2026 - 31st Jan 2027
22nd Feb - 12th April 2027
31st May - 12th July 2027
And a similar pattern will continue onwards past these dates.

A degree of flexibility would be required as Mum has no control over shift pattern and only gets this information 4-6 weeks in advance!

Tricky, but could be a great role for someone local. Hours are likely to be 6am - 10am, and 4.30pm - 9pm when Mum is on day shift, and then 6pm - 9am overnight when Mum is on night shift.
