My Requirements

Hi!

We are in the very early stages of looking for some help with childcare with our children from autumn.

My husband and I have three children - Alexander who is nearly 4 and almost 7 month twins - Oliver and George. I am currently on maternity leave but due to return to work in October. We are both doctors and so have a degree of flexibility within our roles but work long shifts and antisocial times that don’t always match up will with school and nursery drop offs and pick ups! I am still waiting to find out what hospital I am returning to and what days hence the TBC in the details below! Hopefully I will know this very soon.

Our twins have places at a nursery (conveniently located opposite our house!) and Alexander will have started school (less than ten mins walk from us).

We are looking for a couple of things (ideally from the same person but could be more than one person if not able to help with all):

- Before nursery/school childcare for three days a week (likely Mon/Wed/Thu but days TBC) long term. Likely for an 1-2 hours from 7/7.30am and would involve helping children get up/breakfast and drop offs at nursery and school (all less than 10 mins walk)

- After nursery/school childcare on the same days long term. This would be from school pick up time until 6/7ish depending on our shifts and would involve nursery/school pick up and helping with dinner/start of bedtime depending on shifts.

- All day childcare one day a week for the twins on a Friday (this would be short-mid term for around 6-9 months). These hours would likely be 9-4/5ish but flexible

Due to the nature of our jobs and shifts there may be some flexibility within this and some days we don’t require help. There will also be an opportunity for ad hoc babysitting if this is something you were keen to do.
