About Me
I'm a mum to a two-year-old daughter, Rosa, and a five month old baby, Luca.
I’m on maternity leave at the moment, and my mum is a huge help with the children when my husband is working. But two kids under the age of three is still a lot to handle, so we are looking for some extra help to give my mum a break and me a chance to go out child free occasionally.
We’re looking for now for maybe two half days a week or a little more - between 10 and 16 hours. This would mostly be to care for Rosa, my toddler, but sometimes for Luca and very occasionally for both at the same time.
Rosa loves to be read to and to be taken to the park. She is friendly and outgoing loves chatting away. Luca is a smiley, easy, baby.
We’re in search of a kind, patient, person who loves children and is happy to roll with whatever imaginative comes up in Rosa’s conversation. Ideally we’d love someone who has experience in caring for babies too.
This may be a temporary role. I return to work in November. This may require us moving to Lebanon - I’m a foreign correspondent covering the Middle East. But there’s a chance we remain here and if we do we’ll be looking for full time help from a nanny. So it’s all very flexible at the moment, with a possible opportunity of a full time role in the coming months.
My Requirements
My husband and I both work from home. We're looking for a kind and patient person could look after Rosa, Luca and sometimes both of them for about five hours per day a couple of days per week.
We're raising Rosa without screen time. We are looking for someone who is willing to play games with her, read books, cook with her, make trips to the local playground and other outdoor activities.
